The Middle Ages remain with us today. Since the publication of J.R.R. Tolkien's epic fantasy, Lord of the Rings, the modern world has rediscovered or perhaps uncovered a deep engagement with the medieval. In this 4-part series, University of Western Ontario faculty and student guest speakers will place the medieval and modern worlds in conversation, discussing Tolkien, Game of Thrones, and Arrival.
