London Public Library is part of a city-wide group of community organizations and individuals who work together to connect eligible Londoners to free tax clinics.

These free tax clinics are supported by volunteers trained by the Canada Revenue Agency as part of their Community Volunteer Income Tax Program (CVITP).

Free Tax Clinics in London 2026

Do You Need Help Filing Your Taxes?

The Community Volunteer Income Tax Program helps individuals with an income of less than $40,000 and couples with a combined income of less than $55,000 to complete their income tax and benefit returns.

Tax volunteers do not complete income tax and benefit returns for deceased persons, bankrupt individuals, individuals who report capital gains or losses, employment income or expenses (like driving for Uber or DoorDash), or business or rental income and expenses.

Find Volunteer Tax Clinics in the community on the  Canada Revenue Agency website (choose "Find a tax clinic in your area"), and search for London to view the clinics that are currently available. More clinics will be added in 2026. You can also call or visit the Library and staff will help you find available Volunteer Tax Clinics.

Are you eligible?

To find out if you are eligible for a tax clinic, visit the Canada Revenue Agency website or call the Canada Revenue Agency at 1-800-959-8281.
