The Ivey Family London Room is a research facility for genealogy and local history located at the Central Library. It contains a wealth of source materials on the City of London and and Middlesex County, such as: books, diaries & manuscripts, minutes, maps, photographs and other memorabilia, and selected municipal documents.

You can search for books in languages other than English by choosing "Language" under the "Refine Results" menu in our Catalogue. Place holds on books in your language and have them sent to your neighbourhood branch for pick up.

We also have special items, such as Dual-Language Picture Books, which make it easy to learn and share languages with your young family.
