Nature in the City: Pollinators, their importance, and how we can support them

Nearly 90% of flowering plants and 75% of food crops rely on pollinators, making them crucial for ecosystems and agriculture. While the European honey bee gets much attention, many native pollinators such as bees, butterflies, and moths also play key roles and face significant threats. Jordan Phelps from The Bee City Program Coordinator for Pollinator Partnership Canada will in his presentation explore the importance of pollinators, the challenges they face, and how we can help protect them.
