October 16–18, 2026 at Centennial Hall
Calling all book lovers! The eagerly awaited Annual Fall Book Sale is almost here. Hosted by the Friends of the London Public Library, the sale returns to Centennial Hall from October 16–18, 2026, with thousands of books and other finds for every age and interest.
It’s a great opportunity to stock your shelves, discover something new and support the Library at the same time. Proceeds raised by the Friends of the London Public Library support enhancements to Library programs and services.
What to Expect
Browse a wide selection of books, CDs, DVDs, books on CD, puzzles, magazines and more. Whether you’re looking for your next novel, something for the kids, a new-to-you movie or an unexpected find, there’s plenty to explore.
Event Details
Join us at Centennial Hall, Lower Level, 550 Wellington St., London on:
- Friday, October 16: 9am–9pm
- Saturday, October 17: 9am–5pm
- Sunday, October 18: 10am–4pm
Cash, credit and debit are accepted.
Don’t miss the popular Fill a Bag Sale on Sunday! For just $5, fill a provided bag with as many items as it can hold.

Volunteers Needed
The Friends of the London Public Library are looking for volunteers to help make this year’s Giant Fall Book Sale a success. There are a variety of roles available before, during and after the sale, including opportunities for high school students completing volunteer hours.
Volunteer roles include:
- Setup Staff: Help unload, unpack and arrange sale materials.
- General Floor Staff: Keep tables stocked, tidy and organized throughout the sale.
- Information Desk Personnel: Welcome volunteers, confirm student volunteer hours and assist shoppers with questions.
- Cashiers: Process cash, credit and debit purchases.
- Cashier Assistants: Support cashiers during busy sale periods.
- Clean-up Staff: Help pack remaining materials and take down tables at the end of the sale.

Can’t make it to the sale? You can also visit the Friends of the Library Book Store at Central Library, open Monday to Saturday.
