Set in the year 2026, a young man living in the utopian Metropolis discovers a bleak underworld of exploited workers underneath the prospering city in this masterpiece of silent cinema. Join us for a screening of Fritz Lang’s 1927 science fiction classic Metropolis, with a special introduction by German film scholar, Dr. Janelle Blankenship. Two hours of free parking at Citi Plaza is available. Pick up a parking voucher from the main desk at Central Library.
