In celebration of James Reaney’s centenary year, join LPL and Nancy Johnson, Producer and President of Lockwood Films, London, for a special screening of the 1996 documentary, “James Reaney: Listening to the Wind.” Directed by award-winning filmmaker Mark McCurdy of Lockwood Films, “Listening to the Wind” is the story of James Crerar Reaney, Canadian poet, playwright, professor. A man of vision, wicked wit, and rich imagination. A man who guided Southwesto—a beloved variant on the London region’s name for Southwestern Ontario—to realize the passion and poetry in its own stories and become transformed by the truth and beauty found in them.
