The Jazzabelles is an all-female jazz band who love playing music together. Formed in the fall of 2017, the group is composed of all women from London and the surrounding area. Under the conductor Emily Rouse, they rehearse weekly at the Lambeth Legion. Their repertoire consists mainly of big-band jazz and swing standards, Latin tunes and seasonal favourites.
The Jazzabelles enjoy performing in the community at local retirement homes as well as more public venues such as the Gathering on the Green in Wortley Village, the Lambeth Legion, Legacy Park, and the Wolf Performance Hall at the London Public Library. Two hours of free parking at Citi Plaza is available. Pick up a parking voucher from the main desk at Central Library.
