This is an introductory class for brand new knitters! Learn how to cast on, make knit and purl stitches, knit in the round, make decrease stitches, and bind off. Together, we will learn to make simple hat or cowl in time for winter. Please bring a set of double pointed or circular knitting needles; 4.5 to 5mm needles are recommend for this project. Yarn will be provided or, bring your own. Please be aware that this is a two-part program and you will register for both sessions at the same time. Register online, in person or by calling 519-661-4600. Two hours of free parking at Citi Plaza is available. Pick up a parking voucher from the main desk at Central Library.
