The Friends of the Library invite you to celebrate the launch of a new edition of London Street Names: an Illustrated Guide. Edited by Michael Baker and Hilary Bates Neary, this engaging book adds 30 additional streets to the over 100 explored in the 2003 edition. Fifty-eight local authors explore the stories and people behind how streets are named and offer a fascinating window into our city's past as we celebrate London's bicentennial year in 2026.
