Stratford Festival Series 2026: Performing Shakespeare

Using excerpts from Shakespeare’s plays, teaching artists demonstrate and guide participants through acting techniques. Learn how to engage with Shakespeare in active, imaginative, and personally meaningful ways, bringing his stories, characters, and language to life in 2026. May 21 – Sound Effects: Explore the ingenious world of Foley, the art of creating live sound effects for film, radio, and the stage by using simple found objects. You’ll learn practical low-budget DIY sound design techniques to bring stories to life. May 28 – Song & Dance: Led by teaching artists from the show, learn and perform step-by-step choreography and a song excerpt from Something Rotten! Come prepared to sing and move!
