Terrific Tales of London and Area: Bright Lights, Black Stars

Embark on a journey through time with our captivating public history lecture series, Terrific Tales! Join us as we unveil the rich tapestry of London and Middlesex's heritage. Network with others interested in local history and contribute to the preservation of our shared history. Former Intercounty Baseball League (IBL) star Paul Allen is the author of Bright Lights, Black Stars which covers the Negro League players who came to play in Canada’s oldest baseball league, the IBL. Learn how black players and their white teammates made integrated baseball in Canada a success. In partnership with the London and Middlesex Historical Society. Two hours of free parking at Citi Plaza is available. Pick up a parking voucher from the main desk at Central Library.
