This month, the City of London released the results of its 2025 Resident Satisfaction Survey. This Survey gathers insights from a sample of residents and provides opinions and perspectives about key issues facing London, Ontario.
For the fourth straight year, London Public Library (LPL) is the City service with the highest resident satisfaction rate. 95% of those surveyed are satisfied with the Library's service, with 54% stating that they are "very satisfied".
“The London Public Library Board of Directors is thrilled by this year’s survey results, with LPL topping the list of most overall satisfied patrons", reflected Brian Gibson, Chair of the London Public Library Board. "The LPL Board, staff, and administration take pride in ensuring we are delivering on our core mandates with purpose, relevance, and impact. As the City continues to grow and rapidly evolve, we believe the Library must be in lockstep with this change."
Brian Gibson added "This survey indicates that we are on the right path. We appreciate feedback from all Londoners. To all of our staff, thank you. To all Londoners, thank you for the opportunity to serve our community.”
For LPL, the results of this survey are a reminder of the role that public libraries play in the lives of Londoners. As the Library's CEO, Michael Ciccone, notes "This rate of satisfaction would not be possible without the dedication of our staff and it reflects the essential value of our libraries in the community. We thank Londoners for their continued support."
