Submit your original artwork for a chance to have your art featured across the Library’s 16 branches on special bookmarks. You can submit your art online here or in person at any library by January 31.

Contest Details:
- Open to teens 13-18 years of age as of January 1, 2026
- Must live, attend school or work in London, Ontario
- Entry Deadline: January 31, 2026
- Size: winning artwork will be printed on bookmarks sized 8” x 2.25”
How it works:
- You can choose to upload your art using the form at the bottom of this page, OR
- Download an entry form or pick one up at any Library location. You can create art directly on the entry form template or use your own paper or other material. Drop the form with your art off at any Library location by January 31, OR:
- If you prefer, you can submit a low res file of your artwork online below. 2 MB limit. File types: jpg, jpeg or png file. (If your work is chosen to be printed on a bookmark, we will follow up with you to get a higher resolution file of your art).

Rules & Eligibility
- One entry per participant
- Must currently reside, attend school, or be employed in London, Ontario.
- Must be aged 13 – 18 as of January 1, 2026.
- All submissions must be original art by you in any medium. Digitally created original designs are acceptable. Licensed characters, and designs that are copied or traced will not be accepted.
- Submissions may be modified by London Public Library as needed to fit a 2.25" x 8" bookmark.
- You may submit your artwork online here or by dropping it off to any London Public Library Branch with a completed form.
- We are not able to return any submissions.
- By submitting your artwork, you are giving London Public Library the license to use, reproduce, publish and distribute your artwork without a fee.
- Submissions will be judged on originality and design.
- All Judges’ decisions are final.
- Three winners will be selected. One winner will be selected by Library Staff and two winners will be selected by the Board and Membership of the Forest City Gallery.
- Award winners will receive a prize and have their designs and names printed on bookmarks to be distributed throughout the London Public Library System and published on the London Public Library website and Social Media channels.
- The personal information on this form is collected under the authority of the Municipal Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act. This information will only be used for direct contact with award winners.
