CULC Social Impact Study
In June, 2025, London Public Library patrons participated in this first-of-its-kind National Social Impact Study on urban public libraries in Canada. This study explores the role public libraries play in community life and social wellbeing.
The study was released on January 30, 2026 by The Canadian Urban Libraries Council (CULC). Read the study here.
LPL Facilities Master Plan
LPL is working on a 10-year Facilities Master Plan that will determine library space needs that will best serve the growing and evolving London community.
Londoners and London Public Library patrons were consulted in November, 2025 through an online survey and open houses at six library locations. A Draft Facilities Master Plan was available for review and comment in April, 2026. Learn more here.
