This November, London Public Library is proud to offer a wide range of free financial literacy programs during Financial Literacy Month.

We’ve partnered with expert organizations committed to helping Londoners better understand money and make informed financial decisions. We're excited to continue our ongoing partnership with Chartered Professional Accountants (CPA) to offer access to practical knowledge.

If you're looking to pay down debt, start budgeting, save for retirement, or simply feel more confident about your financial choices, these sessions are designed to meet you where you're at.

Financial Literacy at London Public Libary

We want to help Londoners reduce stress around money and plan for a more secure future. Financial literacy is an essential life skill, and these programs are about making that knowledge accessible and approachable.

London Public Library is a member of a city-wide working group committed to improving the availability of financial literacy resources in London, particularly for low-income and equity-denied residents. Together, we also support the delivery of free community tax clinics every spring. This work continues throughout the year.

Looking ahead to the winter, the Library is once again partnering with the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) to offer online tax education sessions. These free programs will help people understand their personal tax returns, learn about benefits and credits, and get answers to questions about filing and eligibility.

If you have a specific question, are planning for the future, or want to understand more about how money works, our programs are a welcoming place to start.
